St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day happened to be one the Saturday following the finishing of all our colors! So of course we had to have a BIG COLOR day!!!!

First we made rainbows leading to pots- to be filled with gold by the leprechauns of course!

We hung them on our doors,

colored rainbows and leprechauns, and taped them to the door to let the leprechauns know we were ready with our rainbows and pots,

and waited and watched to see if we could see the sneaky leprechaun.

But, because we couldn't stand at the door all day we did some color activities;

playdough, color jumping, and color-matching with tweezers.

When Owen woke up from his nap and the real FUN began....

After a bath we checked our pots

sure enough those sneaky leprechauns got past our watchful eyes, put gold in our pots, and got away before we could catch them! ;-)
