I feel like Devin doesn't get mentioned here a lot... but really without him our life wouldn't be. He is a wonderful husband and father. He steps up without being asked; he seriously is our superman!

So of course the littlest I could do was make his birthday special {which was the 7th- posting a little late}

I hung our HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner, and blue streamers, I sang to him multiple times before he left for class while we ate his favorite breakfast. Yet, true to his greatness HE made breakfast for everyone, HE changed Owen's poopy diaper, and HE was up early with the upset child. I cannot get ahead of this man!

Twenty-Six things Devin from this past year

01. He sucked up his man-pride and bought a Jetta; he says it's a girl car but the engine sounds manly enough so it's okay

02. He took on a home-remodel project by himself

03. He gave up his side of the bed as to not bump his wife's broken side

04. He achieved his highest GPA EVER

05. He was his wife's strength through a trying time

06. He went through a number of laptops...

07. some he fixed up...

08. some he sold...

09. and one he modified with parts from DI to become his somewhat-'dream' computer

10. On numerous accounts, made sushi at midnight due to a request from his wife

11. He did NOT ruin a pair of jeans skateboarding but...

12. Put holes in his favorite from the constant potions of his keys, wallet, i-touch

13. Got flea bites, even though he thought it was from a spider

14. Bridge jumped into the canal

15. Was released from a calling and called to a new, and given the original calling in less than a week

16. 'Prostituted' his body to provide a little more for his family {donated plasma}

17. Planned his study times around his wife's calling

18. Spent the summer with his mother-in-law, who he ...

19. renamed Juanita

20. Had his wisdom teeth removed...

21. all TWO of them

22. Made wooden swords for his boys

23. Went rope swinging off a two story roof

24. Attained too much knowledge for anyone else around here to understand

25. Performed 'dental' work on his wife's mouth

and....

26. Continues to be the best husband and father I know!
