Devin took his last test the day before my last day as nanny. And my last day, a scheduled full Saturday, was a little over two hours- which I spent inside with the two little ones while the older girls and Devin played in the snow.
Devin had a hard semester, we rarely saw him- except on Sundays. Oh joyous Sundays! From the start of our marriage we decided not to do homework/study on Sundays. This semester keeping that decision solid was hard for Devin and may have resulted in his two B's (that's right my near high school dropout husband only got two B's {and 3 A's, in case you were wondering}), but we spent that time together!
The past few days have felt like Saturdays with Daddy back! He still studies (for the Dental Admissions Test (DAT)), but we lay around in 'jamas', make messes everywhere, read books, work on last minute Christmas gifts, laugh, snuggle, play, and just enjoy our time together before that all changes once again on January 5th.
