Seasons

Using the concrete slab lines I outlined four squares, each in a different color (pink, yellow, brown, blue), and roughly drew a bare tree in the middle. One by one the girls picked a box, gave it a season (spring, summer, fall, winter), and decorated the tree to match the season.

Our Spring tree had pink buds on it, green grass, and tulips at it's base. Our Summer tree had green leaves on it, a mixture of green and yellow grass, a sprinkler and swimming pool at its base. Our Fall tree had brown, yellow, and red leaves, yellow grass, a pile of leaves and a jack-o-lantern at the base. And last, our Winter tree didn't have any leaves but was covered in snow, was surrounded by snowflakes, and had a snow, and a snowman at it's base.

When asked what season it was Emma stood in-between Summer and Fall!

{sorry for the rough picture... I only had my phone}
