Earth Day: Make Your Own

Although Earth Day isn't for awhile we decided to get an early start!

Items:

Blue and green paper

plate (or circular thing for tracing)

utensil to trace with (we used green and blue markers)

Scissors

Glue

1. I traced a small plate on blue paper and cut it out

2. Then I let the girls make funny shapes with their hands and traced their feet to make continents (I originally was trying to make North America, South America, and Africa as seen on Levi's but the girls decided it would be more fun to make up their own continents)

3. the girls then glued their continents where their wanted and then named them (their idea)

(this is Levi's that I attempted to make like the actual Earth- I tried!)
