ONE YEAR!!!

I can't believe how fast it has gone; he is still my baby.

Here are twelve (one per month) things about our Owen

01. He has seven teeth- four top three bottom

02. His favorite 'words' are vroom and boom

03. He LOVES his big brother

04. His most commonly used words are 'this' and 'that'

05. He RUNS to the bath

06. He enjoys every minute he has with his daddy

07. He still has red hair

08. He still laughs when you say no

09. He isn't afraid to climb anything

10. He love to make phone calls

11. He loves cameras

Presents and Cake:

PRESENTS:

a pull-along train {thanks grandpa and grandma}....

that he wouldn't let go of...

Even after Levi had moved on to opening his next present...

Oh wait, he did pull away, momentarily to pull out some animals {thanks GG}, each of which say a variation of 'vrrrooooommmm' {that's close to 'moo' right?}

CAKE

{I should have set aside more time for the decorating of the cake... and didn't so no judging!}

I made a carrot cake and covered it in blue frosting, I thought it was a fail-proof smash cake... but apparently sticking to the Folk family tradition (birthday child's favorite dinner for their birthday) filled this little boy up and left no room for cake... not even the frosting!

Against all attempts we couldn't get him to eat it! Even smearing frosting on his face...

Luckily Levi obliged and put his face in the cake...

He may not have enjoyed the cake, but we enjoy him!
