Maple Syrup

Batter was sizzling; pancake aroma was filling the air.

I opened the cupboard; reached my hand in...... could it be? No more maple syrup!

Devin excepted the quest, and dashed off to find

the missing ingredient that would make breakfast divine.

Not a moment later came there a sound,

from the back bedroom, where a little one could be found.

I smiled as I realized I had forgotten in my haste

that little Levi was still here, luckily with a smile still on his face!

(I don't know why I feel the need to rhyme I'm horrible at it)

Here's the little guy preparing to be a ghost for Halloween! It's his favorite game.
